Pro's and con's of buying bathroom products online

Buying bathroom products online allows you to shop quickly and easily without leaving home. However, when purchasing something as important as bathroom products you want to make sure you are dealing with a reputable company.

Factors to consider when buying bathroom products online:

1. Delivery costs - how much is it and do you need to be onsite for delivery? Many online sellers will list their bathroom product far below competitors prices, however when adding the delivery costs the price ends up being no different or even more expensive. You also need to know if you need to be onsite for delivery, because you may be charged a re-delivery fee if you are not at home to receive the goods.

2. Delivery insurance - is it included or is it listed as an optional extra? Bathroom products can be fragile and the last thing you want is your bathroom product cracked and broken on arrival and then be told that you didn't have insurance and you will have to pay for another product.

3. After sales service - is it even offered? Many companies using the Internet to sell their bathroom product don't see after sales service as part of their offering. Just because you haven't developed a face to face customer relationship with the online company doesn't mean they are not responsible for ensuring you are 100% happy with your purchase. A company offering online customers the same after sales service they offer their instore customers obviously trust their products, are reliable and want the best for their customers (both online and instore).

Buying bathroom products online is convenient and an excellent option for the time poor, but only if the company you are buying from is clear about costs, provides insurance and offers after sales service. If a company is hazy on their delivery and after sales service then purchasing is at your own peril.
